Hypocrisy At it's Finest

I realize that the Democratic Party is full of the most tolerant and inclusive people know to man, so I may be the only one who this interesting. It seems those who are most against voters having to show any identification when they go to vote insist that anyone attending the convention in Charlotte has to have a valid government issued ID.
Get yours from Amazon here

Pedestrians walking to their home or business that falls into a restricted area will be required to provide identification when the road is closed. Passenger (as opposed to commercial) vehicles attempting to enter streets with restricted vehicle access must go through a vehicle checkpoint.
What type of identification is required? A standard issued government ID is requested.
Remember her?
So I guess this means if some little old Hispanic lady from let's say Southbridge, who never has been able to get an ID because of it's cost wants to go to Charlotte to see the big O accept the nomination, she won't be allowed anywhere near him.

Certainly attending the convention is much more important to America than being legally allowed to vote.  After all the decisions made in Charlotte will certainly be major ones which could affect our country for years, well that is if the Democrats actually do what they say they are going to do this time. Look at how well they did in 2008. Remember how Gitmo was to be closed? The economy would turn around? We would have the most transparent administration ever? There would be jobs for everyone? Everyone would have a house? The ice caps would stop melting? (Okay, that last is a stretch because no one really knows if the ice caps were indeed melting)

Yup, I am sure glad the Dems have their priorities straight.

  1. The comparison you are making is ridiculous.
First, who made the rule, the dems or the municipal officials?
Second, isn't it likely that the convention constitutes a more likely target for terrorism than say, a precinct polling place?
Once again we have a tea party type creating a false sense of equivalency where none exists.

    1. The comparison is that the Dems use the excuse that people can't get ID's for whatever reason. If that is in fact the case then according to their thinking, people will not be allowed to go to the convention.

    2. exactly, the claim is that they are: too expensive to make, people live too far from centers, gas costs, copying paperwork costs, etc. OK, I say we start an ALL VOLUNTEER group to drive people to these centers for ID's which are a good thing to have in general, not just for voting. Ever write a check anymore? Ever rent a car, ok, maybe not, but having one on you in case of emergency, say a car wreck, it's a good thing to have. Anyone not living in these rural areas where the hardships are, can volunteer at the centers, or send money if you can't do A or B. makes common sense to me. ESPECIALLY, if the integrity of the voting system matters to everyone, like it should. I'm not a zealot, but I believe in right and wrong, and it's SAD that a others have to do this, because of "a few" fraudulent voters. Doesn't EVERYONE want to see legal voters be able to vote? I don't think we should look the other way, because "the number is so small". Wrong is wrong in America.

  2. Face it, your a kool-aid drinking hypocrite.
I posted a comment on this just plain stoopid post over 3 hours ago and you don't have an answer.
Quit spreading false information and echoing the right wing idiocy and deal with the facts.
Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot. Your presidential candidate.s flack said that they wouldn't have their campaign dictated by the "fact-checkers."
They'd rather resort to flat out lies, and call any attempt to call them on those lies as just part of the "mainstream media."
This is what you people who dismiss science and reality regard as delusional.

God help America and save us from you lying, ignorant fools!

    1. Interestingly enough, unlike some of my Democratic counterparts, I don't sit in front of my computer 24 hours a day to trade barbs with others.

As far as the Kool-Aid goes, there was none left when you were done with it.

Which facts are you referring to? Is Gitmo closed? Is the war in Afghanistan over? Is unemployment lower know than when Obama took office? Is the debt lower? Is the economy better? Is the price of gas the same as it was in January 2009?

      Oh, it's stupid not stoopid.

    3. So much for the liberals being the compassionate, inclusive, and "tolerant" party. I've never heard the rude, nasty, and hateful comments more than from a liberal person trying to comment on something. It's like I can hear you yelling and hating anyone who isn't exactly agreeing with you.

    4. Exactly! Ive never seen so much hate and nastiness in my life! There is an outside force working here. Yes.....im going to say it. Satan. Why else would these demos be out for so much blood? They spew evil and mean, hateful things. And death threats! This actually scares me sometimes. In my book? Obama is satan, and the people believing their lies are his minions. God help america.

    5. While i agree there is evil at work, i won't agree that Obama is Satan. There is an agenda at work here however, several in fact. The main one is to foster hate and animosity between all classes of people. This is how they will get control.

  3. Conservatives think, Liberals feel and YellSeptember 2, 2012 at 8:18 PM

Why is that the left must always respond with vitriol, name-calling and revisionist history? Rather than offer comments in a civil manner, they all resort to the Debbie Wasserman Schultz/David Axelrod play book of cheap shot one-way conversation.

I applaud you Paul for your tempered, intellectual response, which is in sharp contrast to the emotionally charged, subjective response of the liberal poster screaming through their post.

    1. When the facts and the truth are against you, that is the only way to respond. Well, the other way is to say something like "I am not going to argue with you, you don't know what you are talking about" and then you don't hear from them.

But I guess it makes them feel good and they tell all their friends how the got the best of the conservative.

  4. Liberal means hypocriteSeptember 3, 2012 at 10:27 PM

Right on. The libs are always getting caught in their own nets. They don't get it. You're either honest or not, consistent or not. Libs love changing the rules as they go. You see it everywhere with libs. Same here with Mary Dowling and Blanchard. Like two Nancy Pelosis wiggling and jiggling their way around anything important.
